Volunteer work at Leominster Food share, and the Leominster Food Bank

When I was at the Food Share yesterday (open twice per week) there were 176 clients picking up great food donated by Coop, Aldi and Morrisons plus others. Deliveries every day made to local temporary accommodation and social housing (around 30 households per week). Anyone is welcome – which is lucky as there were 3 bags of Brussel Sprouts left for my Christmas dinner!

The Food Bank is referred to around 25 housholds and is also open twice a week and includes 120 holiday school bags (self-referrals from large families where the universal credit is just not enough).
