VISIT TO THE HINTON COMMUNITY – WEDNESDAY 3RD DECEMBER 2015

The High Sheriff attended lunch at the Hinton Community Centre,
which is run and supported in partnership with Hereford and Ludlow
College. They have made impressive progress and the impact within the Community, especially for those with learning difficulties is considerable. The delicious lunch was cooked by some of the students. There is a fantastic working partnership with the all the groups that use the centre. The chief executive of amateur boxing, Mr Mark Abberley (formally a Hereford sixth form student!) and Commonwealth gold medallist, Scott Fitzgerald, also visited for lunch, along with the Lord Lieutenant, the Right Worshipful Mayor of Hereford and Superintentant Sue Thomas. Presentation were given by Roland Wooderson, Hinton Community Chair and Mark Abberley.
