VISIT TO BARRS COURT SCHOOL – FRIDAY 13TH FEBRUARY 2015

The High Sheriff visited Barrs Court School and was received by the the Head Teacher Lisa Appleton along with Karen Aird.  He then attended the school assembly where he gave a short talk on the role and duties of a High Sheriff and the Magna Carta.  He then joined the students in singing the school song and answered questions.  Many of the students enjoyed trying on pieces of the High Sheriffs uniform and were especially interested in the sword.  It was very rewarding to see the high standard of care which is achieved at Barrs Court School.
