Three Choirs Festival. The entrance line up for the Opening Service at Worcester Cathedral – how lovely to sing again! And what anthems from the choir. Including Where is the Road, a spiritual anthem:
“After wind, after rain,
When the dark is done,
As I wake from a dream
In the gold of day,
Through the air there’s a calling
From far away
There’s a voice I can hear
That will lead me home.”
It had some kind of post covid resonance, and soared through this beautiful cathedral. Lunch in the Chapter House. Thank you Worcester. Next year Hereford.
