The Search for Shangri-La

John Bulmer gave a special screening of a film he directed called ‘The Search for Shangri-La’ which follows explorer Mark Shard and traveller Charles Allen as they journey through the breathtaking Himalayan scenery to find the lost Tibetan city of Shangri-La reputed to hold the secrets to happiness and eternal youth. It was a fascinating film and the proceeds were in aid of the Samaritans. The venue was Broadfield Court, where we also enjoyed a lovely lunch.
