Suvla Barracks

At 8.30am, The High Sheriff attended a breakfast at the Hereford Local Army Reserve Centre, Suvla Barracks, Harold Street.   The 6 Rifles Recruitment team illustrated the benefit of Reserves, followed by a Jobs Fair.   “It brought back memories of when I was commissioned into the Hereford Light Infantry in 1964, which were 5 enjoyable years, including taking part in manoeuvres in the Brecon Beacons and Sennybridge”.
