River Trip on the Wye

On the 18th July Bob joined a party of three on an outboard powered rubber dinghy to survey the river to judge the suitability of taking the River Wye Trow “The Hereford Bull’ from Hereford to Ross.

The trip was organised by Rob Shiels and they left the new purpose built headquarters of the Hereford Sea Cadets at 0900 hours with Rear Admiral Philip Wilcocks and Ian Hale.  They had an interesting and unadventurous trip arriving at Ross at 1800 hours.
