Mental Health in Agriculture.
This is beautiful to me and to others to whom it represents a bucolic idyll. But to some, the isolation, the challenge of the agricultural economy , the uncertainty of what the future might bring, the slim margins of farming, the challenges of brexit and uncertain trade deals it’s not all plain sailing. Too often stoical farmers don’t speak out and are afraid to show their insecurities and speak about underlying issues. Having spent a couple of hours on Friday with @agchap Nick Read and David Gwatkins from the Borderlands Chaplaincy I know there is always help out there.
