in an extraordinary year, people are still ensuring that key occaisions are still happening, although in very different ways.
In order to prevent a gathering of people, the Remembrance Day wreath laying was filmed a week ahead. Camerman John Marshall, Mayor’s Officer, was all set up and the 8 people in the party laid our wreaths, without ceremony, at theh war meorial in St Peter’s Square.
The Kohima Epitaph was delivered by Colonel Andy Taylor:
“When you go home, tell them of us and say, for your tomorrow, we gave our today.”
What a privilege to be part of the this event.
