Community Payback team

I was expecting to do some work with the Community Payback team but instead had a tour of Hope Scott House. Digging a garden in the sunshine gave a sense of purpose to the community payback workers, and they have created a brilliant outdoors for the residents.

This hostel gives care, accommodation and treatment to individuals in need who are homeless and suffering, whether ill, a discharged offender or simply homeless. Hope Scott House helps them mentally and spiritually to regain their lives and get back into society. Several residents have already moved on.
