Bench Talk, the podcast of The High Sheriff of Herefordshire is now on Spotify!

Welcome to my podcast, called “Bench Talk” because we are permitted to sit on a bench and chat! I will be talking to Herefordshire’s very own heroes as I plan to shine a light on the voluntary nature of people’s jobs and the public service orientation of all those who go the extra mile. Talking Herefordshire, charities, the services, voluntary sector and tourism, I’ll also be talking to some of our more well known residents too – especially those who have done a lot for Herefordshire and beyond.

So far my podcast interviewees are Tricia Thomas, talking about what it means to be a High Sheriff; Kate Bingham talking about her voluntary work around the vaccine, and Herefordshire of course; Suzanne Hughes, a volunteer of all volunteers; Vince McNally, the man with a very big heart from Hinton Community Centre; Ben Andrews, a local farmer and campaigner and more to come.
