The Royal British Legion Herefordshire County Rally

Bob and Bea attended the Royal British Legion Herefordshire County Rally on Sunday 23rd June at St Mary’s Church, Fownhope.  The Presiding Officer was Major James Hereford DL who is the Royal British Legion County President.  The Service was conducted by the Reverend Dr Chris Moore and the Parade Marshall was Brian Cheasley Esq.  The Parade was accompanied by the Malvern Boys’ Brigade Marching Band who, towards the end of the service, played the Last Post quite beautifully, followed by a March Past in front of HM Lord Lieutenant, The Countess of Darnley.  There was tea in the hall afterwards where Bob had the pleasure of meeting  members of the Royal British Legion from different areas of the County.
