Podcast Bench Talk: Episode 24: Vicky Nicolson-James.
Not a shred of self-pity from this resilient and lovely lady. But hear how it is to live with a darling Clementine who has profound and multiple physical and learning disabilities. Having also had a sister with similar learning disabilities and who also was at Westfield Special School, where we recorded our chat, it was particularly poignant for me. Vicky is raising awareness around making Herefordshire much more accessible – there are only 3 places in Herefordshire where she can change Clemmies nappies – we must improve.
Our bench was in the quiet kitchen of Westfield Special School.
