World Record Breaker Row Sentinel (aka Ian) is an inspiration. The first to row solo and unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean with just a sextant and the stars. Leaving New York at the end of May he rowed the ocean In 85 days and travelled 3485 miles arriving in the Scilly Isles in August. This was to highlight mental health, particularly in ex-service men, and to raise funds for SASRA (Special Air Services Regimental Association) and St Michael’s Hospice. We chat about the voyage amongst other things; and of course Ian’s tips for tourism in Herefordshire.
