Swearing in at Worcester Crown Court

Newly appointed H and W family magistrates swearing in at Worcester Crown Court. Did you know that JPs are totally voluntary? They are ordinary people who hear cases in court in their community. They sit in benches of three, including two ‘wingers’ and one who sits in the centre who has received special training to act as chair, known as the Presiding Justice. And in the family court this can be particularly challenging. Thank you in advance new appointees.
