The Mayor of Ledbury’s Annual Civic Service

Councillor Phillip Howells invited me to attend his service in the parish church, Ledbury.  We gathered in the wonderful Town Council Offices in Church Lane, from where we processed, led by the Mayors’ Chaplain, to St Michael’s and All Angels.

The service included excellent singing by the Ledbury Choral Society, and we were guided through the service by instructions helpfully projected onto a screen set at the head of the nave.  The service was led by the Revd Keith Hilton-Turvey, Rector of Ledbury.

The occasion closed with refreshments in the Burgage Hall.
