The New Model in Technology and Engineering (NMITE), the new University in Hereford, has taken over the old Robert Owen School which has been renamed Blackfriars. Today was the party to view the building and have a bit of a celebration with speeches and refreshment. Today, the building is almost completely empty (a few machines have moved in) but is a grand building, built as a school. It is in excellent condition and will make a great base for the first students arriving this September. Meanwhile, the design cohort who have been helping to set up the new University will play a crucial role in making the necessary adaptions in time.
