Hereford Cathedral Belle

The High Sheriff, Mr Bill Jackson, hosted an event at the Cathedral in support of the Hereford Cathedral Perpetual Trust.   Leila Jackson brought her stand for Chelsea Flower Show and reassembled it in the South Transept of Hereford Cathedral.   The Mayan Pyramid included the abutilon she created and named the ‘Hereford Cathedral Belle’.   She gave a spirited and informative talk about her career, journey from Hereford to Chelsea Flower Show, her success and the RHS Gold Medal awarded to her at Malvern last year.   This year, Leila won Silver Gilt at the Chelsea Flower Show.   It was a great success with a fantastic turnout.
