The High Sheriff attended the Cathedral Festival of Lessons and Carols on 23rd December. The Cathedral was packed for this astonishingly beautiful Service in celebration of the Nativity of Christ. It is a privilege to live in a County that has such a beacon of excellence as the Cathedral and it’s Choir. The Carol Service must be one of the high points of the year. The atmosphere was timeless and conveyed a huge sense of the history and continuity of worship of this place.
