Bob and Bea were greeted by the High Sheriff of Shropshire, Mrs Diana Flint DL and Mr Charles Flint QC. They enjoyed lunch in the Big School before Processing in Court Dress from the Ante School to the Chapel where the service was being held.
Also in attendance were the Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire and the Hon Lady Heber-Percy; The Bishop and Archdeacon of Ludlow; The Bishop of Shrewsbury; The Rt Hon Lord Justice Floyd; The High Sheriffs of Clwyd, Staffordshire and Cheshire as well as The Chief Constable of West Mercia; High Court, Circuit and District Judges and many other distinguished guests.
After the service, guests were invited to the Big School for tea which was followed by the presentation of Magistrates’ Long Service Awards by the Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire, Sir Algernon Heber-Percy KCVO and the High Sheriff of Shropshire, Mrs Diana Flint DL.
It was a beautifully organised and happy occasion.
