Fly a Flag for the Commonwealth – Flag Raising Ceremony

Bob attended the Flag Raising Ceremony to commemorate  Commonwealth Day at the Council Offices at Brockington on Monday, 10th March 2014.  The event was hosted by the Chairman of Hereford Council, Councillor Olwyn Barnett.  A specially written Commonwealth Affirmation was read out at the ceremony before the raising of the Commonwealth Flag led by HM Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire, The Countess of Darnley JP.  The event was also attended by local and County dignitaries.
