Lunch with Charlie Mayfield

Bob attended a lunch hosted by Jesse Norman MP in Gardner Hall, Point4, Hereford on Friday 28th February at which the Speaker was Sir Charlie Mayfield, Chairman of The John Lewis Partnership.

Guests were treated to a lovely lunch prepared by the staff at the National College for the Blind and heard an inspiring talk and Question and Answer Session by Sir Charlie .  Sir Charlie re-iterated the importance of people and loyalty in running a successful business.  He set out the ethos of the John Lewis Partnership and their partnership structure in which their staff are partners and shareholders of the company.
