90 year old, Alan Blake walks the equivalent of Everest for charity!

Recently i met this remarkable 90 year old Herefordian man Alan Blake, who is following in Sir Captain Tom Moore’s footsteps, planning to walk the number of steps round his garden that would get him to the top of Everest! It’s pretty steep in his garden and each circuit is 120 steps. The previous High Sheriff (Patricia Thomas) had made the plan but couldn’t do it because of lockdown.
