RBL Field of Remembrance Service

It was such an honour to be present at the much-pared down ceremony of the Royal British Legion‘s Field of Remembrance Service held at the Lady Arbour, Hereford Cathedral on Tuesday. I was met by Barbara Leeson, Chair of the Royal British Legion Herefordshire and then escorted to the garden by RBL Herefordshire President Alan Harrhy.

In some ways the pandemic has made these occasions even more poignant; we stood in the cool sunshine and listened to the words of The Rev Kay Garlick, our Lord Lieutenant, Barbara and Alan – it was very moving.
