The High Sheriff attended the Sounding of the Retreat by The Waterloo Band and Bugles of the Rifles. Due to bad weather this took place in The Town Hall and was a huge success. The Waterloo Band under Major Pete Clark adapted to the indoor venue seamlessly. The Lord Lieutenant took the salute and Brigadier Martin Vine organised the evening.
